2023 KCSE Results New Website and Not Via SMS

2023 KCSE Results New Website and Not Via SMS: Kcse result 2023 (new website). In 2023, the way KCSE candidates review their exam results will see major changes. Instead of using SMS, a new website is in the works, according to Ezekiel Machogu, cabinet secretary for education.

Machogu revealed the truth during a parliamentary committee hearing, revealing that the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) was considering scrapping the popular SMS code. Instead, they are introducing a website where students and parents can view the results for free.

Why this change? Well, Machogu expressed regret over the headaches people faced while trying to get the KCPE results and stressed the need to resolve these issues. He even gave the example of a past situation where they had to outsource because they didn’t meet the required standards. The move means they cannot use the same service provider to announce KCSE results.

Recently, KNEC apologized for the delay in releasing the 2023 KCPE results. They assured those eagerly awaiting their results that they would receive updates via a special SMS service (40054).

Now, parents can check their children’s national exam results via the KNEC website or via SMS. To get the result through SMS, candidates had to send their index number with a special code, followed by KCPE/KCSE in capital letters.

In summary, changes are occurring in the way we know KCSE results. A new website is on the horizon, aimed at making the process smoother and more accessible for everyone involved. It’s a step towards letting go of the hassles of the past and adopting an easier way to check these important exam results.
