African Beach Games Hammamet Fixtures 2023 – The African Beach Games is a continental multi-sport event that brings together athletes from Africa. These Games are organized and governed by the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA). The idea for the Games was first announced by ANOCA President Lassana Palenfo in May 2015.
The African Beach Games provide an opportunity for African nations to showcase their sporting talent and promote unity and friendship through sports. The Games feature a variety of beach and water-based sports disciplines, highlighting the rich coastal heritage of the continent. The inaugural edition of the African Beach Games took place on the island of Sal in Cape Verde in June 2019. The event was a significant milestone for African sports, as it marked the first time a continental multi-sport event focused exclusively on beach sports was held in Africa.
