THE EXAMINATION RESULTS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON JANUARY 18, 2024.
The 2023 National Higher Certificate Examinations concluded on December 6, 2023 and Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga will announce the examination results on January 18, 2024.
Results will be communicated to candidates on January 19, 2024. Some results may not be available due to technical issues.
- Candidates are requested to obtain information about their results from the school/centre where they took the examinations.
- Candidate results will also be available on this website from 06:00 on January 19, 2024.
- Questions about the results must be submitted for review within 30 days of the results being released.
- Candidates must ensure that the names and identification numbers correctly reflect their result statements and report any necessary corrections to the Department by February 21, 2024.

- Register using the USSD code *120*45856# and exam number. Your matric results will then be sent to your phone once they are available.
- Or you can SMS your exam number to 45856.
- Each SMS costs R1.50 and free SMSes cannot be used.
