Understanding Your Results
The KCPE exam is scored out of 500 points. The minimum score required to pass the exam is 250. Each subject is graded from A to E, with A being the highest grade and E being the lowest.
To determine a student’s overall grade, the marks for each subject are added and averaged. The average grade obtained is then converted to a letter grade using the following scale:
