Matric Exams 2023: Here’s WHEN the Results will be Available: The National Matriculation Certificate (BMT) 2023 examinations concluded on December 6, 2023. The Minister of Basic Education, Angie Motshekga, is expected to announce the examination results on Thursday, January 18, 2024. Afterwards, the results will be officially communicated to the candidates. on Friday January 19, 2024.

This announcement marks an important moment for students who appeared for the NSC examinations, as they eagerly await the revelation of their academic results and the culmination of their efforts throughout the examination period. The release of results on January 19, 2024 will give candidates insight into their performance and open doors to future educational and professional paths.

However, some results may not be available because of technical issues.

  • Candidates are urged to get their statements of results from their school/centre where they wrote the exams. Candidates’ results will also be available on this website from 06:00 on 19 January 2024
  • Result queries should be submitted for investigation within 30 days after the release of results
  • Candidates must ensure that names and identity numbers reflect correctly on their statement of results and report any required corrections to the Department before 21 February 2024

REHEARSAL/REVISION OF THE EXAM TEXT

A candidate may charge the prescribed fee for re-marking/checking his/her examination papers.

Registration can be done at a school or district office in the area or online at www.eservices.gov.za (all instructions appear on the back of the results statement).

Correction and revision fees for each subject:

Re-brand: R120

Watch again: R29

Viewing the document can only be done after re-marking or re-checking the results. The deadline for submitting applications is 7 days after the publication of the corrections or re-verification of the results. The viewing fee is R234.

The revised result will be released from March 15, 2024 and will be available at the school/exam center where the candidate wrote their 2023 exams.
