SAFF Championship 2023 Table and Standing – The 2023 SAFF Championship, also known as the 2023 Bangbandhu SAFF Championship due to sponsorship reasons, is the 14th edition of the biennial international men’s football championship for South Asia.
Organized by the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF), the tournament is taking place at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bangalore, India, from 21 June to 4 July 2023.
The defending champions of the SAFF Championship are India, who clinched their eighth title in 2021 by defeating Nepal in the final. As the tournament unfolds in Bangalore, football teams from South Asian nations will compete fiercely for the coveted championship title.
The event serves as an exciting platform to showcase the region’s football talent and foster friendly sporting rivalry among the participating countries.

On 21 January 2023, Football Sri Lanka received sanctions from FIFA, rendering them ineligible to participate in the SAFF Championship. As a result, Kuwait and Lebanon were extended invitations as guest teams in order to increase the number of participating teams and enhance the competitiveness of the tournament. This decision was made to ensure that the event maintains its level of competitiveness and provides an engaging football experience for fans.
