Serengeti Lite Women’s Premier League Standings 2022/2023: Tanzanian women’s football has long been disregarded, yet recently there has been a strong movement to emphasize its development. As a result, various clubs have devoted resources to forming female teams in order to grant women players the chance to demonstrate their abilities and strive to excel.
One of those teams is Simba Queen, which has already achieved great success by qualifying for the Caf Champions League. This success is a reflection of the talent and spirit of the team’s players, as well as the support they received from their club and the wider football community.
To further propel the growth of women’s football, the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) launched the Tanzania Women’s Premier League, also known as the Serengeti Lite Women’s Premier League.
Through this league, female players from various areas of Tanzania have the opportunity to test and refine their footballing capabilities against one another. The Serengeti Lite Women’s Premier League is a critical investment for Tanzanian women’s football.
Providing female players with high-level competition helps develop their skills, create positive role models, and grow a culture of support for the sport. The new league offers an exciting platform for talent development and lasting impact to the regional community.
Serengeti Lite Women’s Premier League Standings 2022/2023
Currently on the top of Serengeti Lite Women’s Premier League table is Fountain Gate Princes, who have been in dominant form this season. They managed to collect 29 points from 12 matches, winning 9 games, draw two and lose only one match. They are followed closely by JKT Queens, who have also shown great skill and determination on the pitch. Other teams in the top five include Simba Queens, Yanga Princes, and Ceasiaa Queen.
