3. Breakdown of Pass Levels
- Degree Pass: 88.59% of students achieved a degree pass, demonstrating their academic prowess. While this figure is slightly lower than 2022, it remains commendable.

- Higher Certificate Pass: 1.57% of students achieved a higher certificate pass, maintaining the same level as 2022.
4. Increase of Candidates and New Schools
The number of students who participated in the IEB examinations in October and November 2023 witnessed a significant increase. With 15,186 students, including 17 new schools and 960 candidates writing the IEB for the first time in 2023, the participation situation expanded.

According to the report, every candidate who wrote the IEB exams passed, allowing them to enroll in one of three levels of post-secondary education:
– 88.59% of the cohort were able to enrol in a degree programme.
– 8.31% were eligible to begin a diploma programme.
– 1.57% of applicants were accepted to study for a Higher Certificate.
