The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup will be the 21st edition of the FIFA Club World Cup, an international club football competition organized by FIFA. The tournament will be played in the United States from June 15 to July 13, 2025. The tournament is expected to be the first in an expanded format with 32 teams, including the winners of the previous four continental championships.
The FIFA Club World Cup has been an annual winter event for the winners of the continental club competition since returning from hiatus in 2005. In late 2016, FIFA President Gianni Infantino proposed an initial extension of the FIFA Club World Cup. teams from 2019 and reorganized until June/July to be more balanced and more attractive to advertisers and sponsors.
