TSC transfer list DEC 2023: TSC New List of 14,613 Transferred Teachers to Home Counties, The TSC transfer list has been updated. The Teachers Recruitment Commission (TSC) has completed the transfer of 14,613 teachers to their home counties, marking the end of the transfer policy. However, 120 teachers are facing transfer delays due to waiting to be replaced. Of the 14,733 applicants during the transfer process, the TSC will review pending transfers before approving additional applications.

In terms of logistics, teachers and vice principals must report before January 23, while school principals must report before January 16. The transfer list reveals the transfer of 226 principals, 189 deputy principals, 1,948 primary school principals, teachers of 1,316 secondary schools and 10,934 primary school teachers.

For a smooth transition, TSC regional heads and commission headquarters will manage transfers within and between regions. Approximately 12,019 teachers will move to regions and 2,594 between regions. An additional message highlights the importance of submitting principal transfer reports by February 10, managed by the TSC County Director and the Ministry of Education.

The TSC transfer list has been updated. It is worth pointing out that the policy of relocation of some people criticized for its effects on teachers and families was opposed by the government of President William Ruto and the education committee of the National Assembly. Following the cancellation of the policy in response to a motion passed on November 3, the committee asked the TSC to complete all 14,000 cases by January.

The updated method now allows the transfer of trainers within their workplaces, providing a more flexible and localized solution. The move is part of efforts to address concerns raised about the impact of the previous policy.
