The series stars Shaheer Sheikh, Rhea Sharma, Ankit Gupta and Kinshuk Mahajan. It is a romantic drama that tells the story of Krishna and Sayuri, two young people brought together by fate.

Destined by Fate Starlife Plot Summary
Balwant Sharma, Dhanraj Choudhary and their wives Indrani and Saroj are close friends and neighbours. The two families are now enemies because of the war between Krishna and Sayuri. Saroj thinks Balwant used Dhanraj only for his business. Balwant denies and asks Saroj what she wants. He asks for half of his things. Indrani and Saroj then fight. Indrani insults and slaps Saroj. Balwant later died due to deteriorating health.
18 years later
Saroj hates Indrani’s family for insulting her. Sayuri, Sharma’s eldest son and a teacher by profession, hates Krishna because she thinks he is responsible for the hatred between the two families. Sayuri’s elder Chiranjeevi (Chiru) and Choudhary are in love and want to get married. They influence their family, especially Saroj. The wedding preparations begin, but unfortunately, Chiru dies in an accident on his wedding day.
Kanha marries Sayuri to fulfill his promise to Chiru. Saroj refuses to accept Sayuri’s role as Saroj’s daughter-in-law. Anjali, Kanha’s ex-girlfriend, tries to cause problems between Kanha, Sayuri and Saroj because she wants to marry him. Kanha and Sayuri start as friends, then they become attracted to each other. Later, they realize that they love each other. Saroj still cannot accept Sayuri. Saroj accepts Sayuri after Sayuri reveals that she is pregnant.
Rashmi and Kanha’s younger brother Nakul confess their love for each other. Saroj accepts Rashmi and Nakul’s proposal. Rashmi gets jealous of Sayuri’s status in the family and starts hating her. Saroj accepts Rishi’s marriage proposal to Kusum, but Rishi tortures and abuses her. Sayuri and Kanha take Rishi to jail after finding out the truth. Rishi escapes from jail and kidnaps Kusum. Sayuri saves Kusum when Rishi attacks her. Sayuri has a miscarriage. Sayuri’s friends Yash and Kusum are in love. Later, Yash & Kusum and Nakul & Rashmi will get married. Rashmi tells Sayuri that she cannot have a child to cause problems between Kanha, Sayuri and Rashmi. Later, Sayuri reveals Rashmi to Kanha and decides to get rid of Sayuri. Rashmi pushes Sayuri over a cliff when Sayuri, Kanha and Nakul go to worship their family deity.
1 year later
Rashmi still has nightmares a year after the incident. She also gave birth to a child with Nakul. Kanha still cannot accept Sayuri’s death and his relationship is ruined. Kanha is injured in an accident on his way to work. Dr. Vikrant then saves her. He sees Sanchi, Vikrant’s wife, who looks like Sayuri, and their daughter Kuku. He believes Saachi is Sayuri and is happy. Saachi is Sayuri, and she is not telling the truth to Kanha because she and Kahna’s daughter are with Vikrant. Vikrant threatens Sayuri, saying he will harm Kahna’s daughter if she tells Kanha the truth. Kanha decides that he will find out the truth and takes Sayuri home. Rashmi’s shock when she came to know that Sayuri is still alive is overwhelming.
With Yash’s help, Kanha meets Mittu and later suspects the truth. Sayuri discovers Saachi’s body in the storage room and realizes that Vikrant killed her. Sayuri and Kanha strategize against Vikrant.
Sayuri plans to pretend to love Vikrant and asks him to bring Mittu and Kuku to the wedding. Rashmi, who is sure that they will succeed, makes Vikrant understand Sayuri’s ruse by telling Sayuri in front of Vikrant that Kanha is coming with help. Rashmi tries to dump Mittu when she meets Indrani, Nakul and Vikrant. Kanha knew that Indrani, Nakul and Indrani had realized Sayuri’s presence. Kanha then comes and says that Mittu is his daughter from Sayuri.
Kanha continues to search for Sayuri while Vikrant hides from Sayuri. Faiba and Kuku are at his door and he welcomes Kuku. Kuku helps him find Vikrant and Sayuri. Vikrant then takes Sayuri at gunpoint. Vikrant and Sayuri’s car falling while chasing them. Kanha saves Sayuri just before the car explodes. Vikrant is killed.
Saroj hires Ravi to sell masks to make Sayuri think she is crazy. Saroj is convinced that Mittu, Kanha’s son, is not Kanha’s daughter and wants Sayuri out of their lives. Kanha, however, suspects that someone is threatening Sayuri. He catches Ravi. Ravi accuses Rashmi of being a mastermind. Rashmi goes to jail when Sayuri reveals that Rashmi pushed her over a cliff. Saroj overheard Rashmi and Sayuri’s conversation and knew that Sayuri would not believe Rashmi if she made a false accusation. Nakul withdraws from the society after learning of his wife’s crime.
Sayuri presents the DNA reports proving that Mittu is Kanha’s son.
Sayuri and Kanha find Chamanbahar and take him home. They did not know from the beginning that he intended to enter their home. Chaman is employed as a maid, but soon takes over the house.
Kanha has met with an accident and Sayuri has to make a deal with Chaman to save him. Sayuri is forced to sign divorce papers with Chaman. Kanha and his family start strategizing again. They get help from Ammu and are able to stop Tingu and Shaman. Rashmi is arrested after her involvement in the game is exposed. Nakul and Ammu get married.
