Ivory Coast’s squad for the AFCON 2023: The 34th Africa Cup of Nations is set to begin in Ivory Coast on January 13 after being postponed from 2023 to 2024 due to the rainy season in West Africa.
Winners Senegal, known as the Lions of Teranga, will aim to defend the title they won in Cameroon in February 2022. In the final, they beat Egypt 4-2 on penalties after a goalless draw.
As the championship continues, teams from across the continent will compete for the prestigious title, with the final scheduled for February 11.
The squads of the participating teams have been announced and football fans are eagerly awaiting the players’ performances as they fight for success in one of Africa’s biggest football competitions.
