Themba Zwane’s outstanding performance against Namibia not only demonstrated his individual brilliance but also played a key role in reviving Bafana Bafana’s hopes of reaching the last 16. In the match against Namibia, Bafana Bafana won 4-0, with Percy Tau opening the scoring in the 14th minute with a penalty kick placed in the net.
Percy Tau, who faced criticism for missing a penalty in the opening match against Mali, redeemed himself with a good performance in this match. Meanwhile, Brave Warriors will face Mali on the same day in the opening match at the same time and their defeat will leave the Cosafa team out of the competition.
