The initial phase of the tournament will see each group participating in a round robin, where each team will compete against the other two in their group. The two best teams from each group will qualify for the knockout phase.
In the knockout phase, teams will compete in single series matches, with the winners advancing to subsequent rounds. This knockout stage will culminate in the final match that is expected to be played on August 19, where the final champion of the League Cup will be determined.

How to watch the Leagues Cup 2023
All of the tournament will take place in U.S. and Canadian stadiums, with Liga MX teams arranged by geography. MLS Season Pass on Apple TV will air all of the matches with TelevisaUnivision, FOX Sports, TSN and RDS picking up a few of the games.
