Premier League champions Sundowns have been chasing Esquivel to strengthen their squad. The Argentine should provide much-needed quality to the team’s midfield, especially after the departure of Haashim Domingo.
In the second half of this season, Masandawana will try to win the PSL championship early if he continues his level.
The Brazilians are also in the knockout phase of the African Champions League, a competition they aspire to win this season after coming close in the previous edition.
