The 34-year-old had joined Swedish club Helsingborgs IF after leaving Kaizer Chiefs. However, his time in Europe was short-lived, lasting only six months, and there are reports that he has now signed a new contract with Polokwane City in Limpopo.

Throughout his career in the Premier Soccer League (PSL), Alexander has played more than 280 matches for various clubs, scoring 16 goals and providing 11 assists. His wealth of experience will undoubtedly benefit Polokwane City, adding depth and skill to their midfield.

According to information from Unplayable, Cole Alexander has completed his transfer to DStv Premiership club Polokwane City.

The interim head coach of Kaizer Chiefs, Cavin Johnson, has given insight into the club’s plans in the January transfer window. Glamor Boys have faced a challenge in reducing the gap between them and their rivals Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates. While the Buccaneers have already won the MTN8 title this season, Mamelodi Sundowns lifted the first African Football League title.

Despite being behind, Johnson remains firm in his belief that the squad does not need to be strengthened. The position of the coach shows confidence in the existing team in facing the challenges without needing a big increase in this period of transfer of players.

“Like I said earlier, I’m not interested in getting any players at the moment. We need to work with what we have, make sure that they come to the party and make sure that they believe that they are Kaizer Chiefs players,” Cavin Johnson said
