In particular, the winners of this year’s TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, 2022, will receive a valuable prize of $500,000. This amount represents a significant increase of 150% compared to the previous prize of $300,000, indicating a significant increase in support for the winning team.
Runners-up will also benefit from a significant increase in prize money, with their share nearly doubling from $175,000 to $300,000. In addition, the semi-final teams will now receive $225,000 each, a significant increase from the previous prize of $125,000.
