Timu Zilizofuzu AFCON 2023: Qualified teams for TotalEnergies CAF AFCON 2023, The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, also known as AFCON or CAN 2023, is indeed scheduled to be the 34th edition of the biennial African international association football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The tournament will be hosted by Ivory Coast for the second time in its history.

Ivory Coast previously hosted the Africa Cup of Nations in 1984. This will be a significant event for African football, as it brings together national teams from across the continent to compete for the prestigious title of African champions.

The tournament is officially sponsored by TotalEnergies, hence its name, the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations. As one of the major sporting events in Africa, AFCON attracts a wide audience and showcases the talent and passion for football on the continent.

Timu Zilizofuzu AFCON 2023

The tournament is now set to take place from 13 January to 11 February 2024. This decision was made by CAF on 3 July 2022 in order to avoid potential weather-related challenges that could arise during the summer in Ivory Coast.

By rescheduling the tournament, CAF aims to ensure optimal playing conditions and minimize any scheduling conflicts with European club teams and competitions. This adjustment allows for a better experience for the participating teams, players, and fans.
