Azam Football Club is a professional football club based in Chamanzi Mbagala, Dar es Salaam. The club was founded on 23 July 2004 as Mzizima FC by the staff of the Said Salim Bakhresa-owned Mzizima wheat flour milling industry. Today, it is one of the most attractive clubs to watch in Tanzania as well as in East Africa.
The club is owned by Azam Group of Companies, a Tanzanian conglomerate with interests in flour milling, Digital Television, Soft Drinks, and Entertainment and recreation. The club plays its home games at the 10,000-capacity Chamanzi Stadium.
